Lance Armstrong is Agnostic...hmm

He is agnostic, quoted as saying, "at the end of the day, if there was indeed some Body or presence standing there to judge me, I hoped I would be judged on whether I had lived a true life, not on whether I believed in a certain book, or whether I'd been baptized. If there was indeed a God at the end of my days, I hoped he didn't say, 'But you were never a Christian, so you're going the other way from heaven.' If so, I was going to reply, 'You know what? You're right. Fine.'"  - Via Wikipedia

....... I have to think about this.  I'll re-edit this post.  -t

Psalm 33

This week has been pretty amazing!  I must say I've been on fire for God and have been getting back into shape.  I wanna hit 300 crunches a day in the next two weeks.  God is and has always been faithful to answer my prayers and loves to surprise me.  I've been reading 13 Psalms a day!  I am still amazed that God continues to love and care for us and Save us.  I'm SO happy for Jon and that his mom cam to Christ!  I'm in awe of Him and for His Love never failing!  All Glory and Honor to God!  -t

Psalm 33 (New American Standard Bible)

Psalm 33

Praise to the Creator and Preserver.
    1Sing for joy in the LORD, O you righteous ones;
         Praise is becoming to the upright.
    2Give thanks to the LORD with the lyre;
         Sing praises to Him with a harp of ten strings.
    3Sing to Him a new song;
         Play skillfully with a shout of joy.
    4For the word of the LORD is upright,
         And all His work is done in faithfulness.
    5He loves righteousness and justice;
         The earth is full of the lovingkindness of the LORD.
    6By the word of the LORD the heavens were made,
         And by the breath of His mouth all their host.
    7He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap;
         He lays up the deeps in storehouses.
    8Let all the earth fear the LORD;
         Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
    9For He spoke, and it was done;
         He commanded, and it stood fast.
    10The LORD nullifies the counsel of the nations;
         He frustrates the plans of the peoples.
    11The counsel of the LORD stands forever,
         The plans of His heart from generation to generation.
    12Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD,
         The people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance.
    13The LORD looks from heaven;
         He sees all the sons of men;
    14From His dwelling place He looks out
         On all the inhabitants of the earth,
    15He who fashions the hearts of them all,
         He who understands all their works.
    16The king is not saved by a mighty army;
         A warrior is not delivered by great strength.
    17A horse is a false hope for victory;
         Nor does it deliver anyone by its great strength.
    18Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him,
         On those who hope for His lovingkindness,
    19To deliver their soul from death
         And to keep them alive in famine.
    20Our soul waits for the LORD;
         He is our help and our shield.
    21For our heart rejoices in Him,
         Because we trust in His holy name.
    22Let Your lovingkindness, O LORD, be upon us,
         According as we have hoped in You

Taking good w/ the bad

I think it's an interesting notion to consider the "good" and the "bad" things in life.  You can't have one without the other and life is never one sided as much as we choose to believe not.  I heard a lot of the questions over and over and I think I can come to a conclusion.  Why do bad things happen to "good" people and why do some people have it so "good"?  I think it all comes down to how you look at things.  Bad things happen to Bad people and Bad things happen to Good people.  Growing up all I knew was pain from family, "friends" and myself.  I dealt with it by being bad and angry.  I was a disabled kid that was overall good but was put in a bad/confusing/sad situation therefore lead to my hatred of self and of others.  I had it "bad" and didn't care to have or want to any other way.  After to coming to Christ my whole attitude change and I felt at peace with my life to come.  I have it "good" b/c I choose to have it good and live for God..  I have it "good" most of the time b/c I choose to have an attitude that is mostly positive and try to present my best self.  Of course life likes to throw in the "bad" and it throws me off but I try not to dwell in that too long.  I tend to move on and move forward.  Some people say it would be awesome to be rich or have a lot of money, yes it would be great but it also brings other aspects of our own desires present and upfront.  I've been in the pit of depression and suicide and one day said no more.  With the past behind me and friends buried and some in jail, I say what about them?  Was it just bad luck?  Sometimes yes and sometimes no.  In the end we must choose how we will live our lives.  One friend was murdered b/c she called her friend to fire a gun to scare some people trying to start trouble w/ her and some friends.  Another murdered someone b/c they killed his cousin.  Another was at the wrong place at the wrong time w/ people who were in a gang and got hit by a bullet.  The choices we must face will either make or break us.  You either learn to live with the good and bad choices or you just live for yourself and live and do with what you choose.  "Good" and "BAD" happens to EVERYONE some more than others but they will eventually receive what's coming.  We can't change the past but we can change the future and whats to come.  What will YOU choose?

Young-Life Crisis

They say that people go through mid-life crisis's.  I'm going through a young-life crisis.  What the heck do I mean?  I feel "OLD" after seeing the word "Prom" or I just used skype for the first time and the person on the other end saw a black box while I saw her clearly.  I realized I didn't have the right cam....duh.  My young life also refers to a friend from high school getting married.  Keep in mind I knew girls in high school having kids and pregnant during senior year.  I think this is good b/c it builds my endurance for the dreaded and beautiful children ahead.  One day of course.  My young-life crisis also refers to realizing the people I grew up with as kids are graduating College.  Holy Smokes!  Amazing.  Life is really going fast.  Praise God for everything to come ans for all the previous memories.  One day at a time.........  In the wods of Yoda:

When 900 years you reach, look as good, you will not.
-- Yoda

Live for the day and Live for Jesus young Jedi's =).

Thanks to Mohawk Mike for reminding me about this verse:

Psalm 51 (New American Standard Bible)

Psalm 51

A Contrite Sinner's Prayer for Pardon.
For the choir director. A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.
    1Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness;
         According to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions.
    2Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity
And cleanse me from my sin.
    3For I know my transgressions,
         And my sin is ever before me.
    4Against You, You only, I have sinned
         And done what is evil in Your sight,
         So that You are justified when You speak
         And blameless when You judge.
    5Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
         And in sin my mother conceived me.
    6Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being,
         And in the hidden part You will make me know wisdom.
    7Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;
         Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
    8Make me to hear joy and gladness,
         Let the bones which You have broken rejoice.
    9Hide Your face from my sins
         And blot out all my iniquities.
    10Create in me a clean heart, O God,
         And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
    11Do not cast me away from Your presence
         And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
    12Restore to me the joy of Your salvation
         And sustain me with a willing spirit.
    13Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,
         And sinners will be converted to You.
    14Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, the God of my salvation;
         Then my tongue will joyfully sing of Your righteousness.
    15O Lord, open my lips,
         That my mouth may declare Your praise.
    16For You do not delight in sacrifice, otherwise I would give it;
         You are not pleased with burnt offering.
    17The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
         A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.
    18By Your favor do good to Zion;
         Build the walls of Jerusalem.
    19Then You will delight in righteous sacrifices,
         In burnt offering and whole burnt offering;
         Then young bulls will be offered on Your altar.
